Now that you’ve learned more about urinating wolves:

Happy whatever your family does this time of year, or you without your family, you in an apartment, say, or a garage. A dark basement moist with humid air and foot odor? No matter, may you at least have some days off.

I bullshit on the craigslist music forum from time to time, and this past Halloween several e-cohorts collaborated on a spooky music mix. I was unable to contribute, but did bestow much hyperbole, declaring it representative of the true promise of the internet, and other such malarky. Someone proposed a Christmas mix of original music should also be made, and I thought it had to happen. I took on the collector/presenter role and the results were quite nice. People gave me great stuff, and I think it’s worthwhile well beyond any of the in-jokes (of which there are plenty). Fun stuff. You can snatch it here, if you’d like. Its format is a play on that of the music forum. The top two links will get you a streaming mix of the whole thing. And as Internet User shrewdly inferred in the golden days of yore, a few tracks are brainchildren of yours truly, or fingerchildren at least, ear canal spawn.

Fig. 2B: The Runaways represent a Music Forum In-Joke.
